Your child will be loved, supported and taken care of in every way possible.

We are Anthony & Sarah from South Louisiana! We are so thankful to be considered as potential parents for your child. We hope to give you all the information you may need to know that your child will be loved, supported and taken care of in every way possible. Thank you for this opportunity to help grow our family, and we pray for peace for you during this journey.

Relationship/Journey

Having mutual friends, we met in October 2019 through Facebook. Immediately following our first date, we continued to hang out and get to know one another. From LSU football games to day-trips to New Orleans, we loved getting to know one another while making incredible memories. Taking road trips together to places like Tennessee, Destin, FL and Austin, TX, we learned that travel is a shared passion. In the first months of our relationship, we discovered that we collectively had a large and diverse family tree, filled with amazing people we love to spend time with regularly. Anthony has three biological children, and Sarah has not only been an incredible parent to them, but her love for them has led to beautiful and deeply rooted connections with each and every one of them. Throughout the course of our relationship, we both felt called to adoption. Three years ago, we first met with St. Elizabeth to begin the process. In God’s perfect timing, we recently received a call, and we were amazed that the timing was perfect to enter the adoption process.

Home

We own a 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom home in a beautiful and diverse neighborhood! We have a community pool, which is great to gather with our children and friends. We enjoy walks and bike rides in our neighborhood as well. There are a lot of kids in our neighborhood who attend the local schools here. We have a wonderful public school system! Our home has a fenced in yard with plenty of room to play. We are in a perfect location between Baton Rouge and New Orleans, which we visit often to see family. Less than half a mile from our home is a wonderful park, a snowball stand, and a food truck court that hosts monthly markets!

Travel

As a couple, we have traveled to Utah, Tennessee, Colorado, and more. As a family, we love going to the mountains and the beach. We are planning to go to the Bahamas as a family this year!

Hobbies

As a couple, we love to travel, create art and jewelry, exercise together, and explore new restaurants. As a family, we also love traveling, enjoying our membership at the Audubon Zoo, Aquarium and Insectarium in New Orleans, as well as spending time with our large family. Anthony IV (13) enjoys weightlifting, robotics, and church activities. Ava (11) loves art, crocheting, playing the piano, spending time with friends, and shopping. Aurora (8) also loves art, shopping, going for walks, and playing with our dogs.

Pets

We have 2 wonderful dogs! We have an 8-year-old mini labradoodle named Jazz and a 3-year-old goldendoodle named Boosie. They are sweet, cuddly and have funny personalities of their own. They are great with our kids, as well as other adults and children.

School & Work

Anthony leads the marketing department for multiple companies in the electric/utilities industry. Working a hybrid schedule, Anthony is able to work from home most days, only having to go into the office 2 days a week. His schedule is very flexible, which has been wonderful for our children. Sarah recently left the beauty industry, and now works from home running her own jewelry business. Having both of us home was ideal for our children and their needs. We have a large family, with most of them being near us and always willing to help if the need arises!

Our Extended Family

We have a HUGE family! Sarah has 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Her mother lives less than 10 miles away and visits often. Her father passed away 7 years ago, but she is still very close to her step mother and we all get to visit often, as she also lives close by. Anthony has 1 brother and 1 sister. Anthony’s parents live 10 minutes from our home and we get to see them regularly. Our children have a ton of aunts, uncles and cousins. There is never a shortage of love or fun with all of these family members!

Family Traditions & Holidays

Being a blended family, our holidays are busy but SO FUN! We usually get to see all of our family on all the important holidays and we love to celebrate! All 3 of our children were born in October, so the holiday festivities begin early for us. Christmas and Mardi Gras are our favorite holidays, and we love to make them magical each year!
