If you're reading this, it means our paths have crossed, and for that, we are truly grateful. We don't know where you are in your journey, but we appreciate you taking a moment to learn a little about us.

It means a lot and we hope this gives you a sense of who we are and the kind of life we would offer a child. No matter what decision you make, we believe it will come from a place of love. We hope you feel surrounded by care and understanding as you navigate whatever path is best for you and your child. If adoption is the path you choose and we are fortunate enough to be part of it, it would be the greatest gift and dream come true. It would mean more to us than we could ever fully express. With all our hearts, Scott & Krystal

Relationship/Journey

We met in 2004. We were introduced by mutual friends, who must have sensed something special was about to happen. From the very first phone call, which lasted five hours, we knew there was something real between us. It felt like fate brought us together. In many ways, we're opposites. Scott is more quiet and thoughtful, while Krystal is outgoing and talkative. But somehow we balance each other out perfectly. We've been together 21 years and married for 14. From early on, we always knew we wanted a family. As we've walked through the emotional road of infertility and the heartbreak of trying to start one, our faith has been our anchor. It has been our source of strength, hope, and healing. We are grateful for the path we've walked, the lessons we've learned, and the deep love we continue to share.

Why Adoption?

We have always dreamed of having a family. Becoming parents has been one of our deepest hopes, and we've spent years praying, planning, and preparing for that day. During our second embryo transfer with fertility treatments we were thrilled to find out we were expecting. Tragically we lost our baby boy at 25 weeks. Over the years we did 6 more transfers without success. Our desire to raise a child has never waivered. We truly believe God is leading us down a different path. It's not the journey we first imagined, but it is one we fully embrace. Adoption is a beautiful way to grow a family, and we are filled with hope and excitement for what lies ahead. Our hearts and home are ready.

Home

Nestled on a five acre hobby farm in the heart of Wisconsin, our home is a blend of peaceful country living and meaningful family history. We raise beef cattle and care for twenty egg-laying chickens. Our two story farmhouse carries a legacy. It's the same house Krystal’s grandpa grew up in during the 1930's. The home has 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths, and 2 car garage. We've already prepared a cozy babies room and can't wait to welcome a child in our home. With the big yard and long driveway there is plenty of room to ride bike, roam, and explore.

Travel

We're big believers in making memories through experiences, and travel is one of our favorite ways to do that. We take a couple trips each year to explore new places or return to ones we love. Alaska was one of favorite adventures. Scott caught an 80 pound halibut, and the views were amazing. We've also hiked Rocky Mountains national Park in Colorado and explored the beauty of Upper Michigan, especially Lake of the Clouds and Copper Harbor. One of our most relaxing trips was to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, where we enjoyed the beach, great food, and sunshine. We do a fishing trip to Canada each year. In the summer we do some weekends at Scott's family cabin, just a couple hours north of us. What excites us most about the future is sharing all of this with a child. We look forward to creating a life full or wonder, discovery, and love as a family.

Hobbies

Each year, we split a garden with Scott's mom and spend the growing season working on it together. From the harvest, we make homemade sauerkraut, salsa, bone broth, spaghetti sauce, and even our own stews. Every summer we go blueberry picking at a local farm. It's a fun outing that helps us fill the freezer with fresh berries to enjoy all winter long. We also have some large pots on our patio that we grow flowers in each year. As for other hobbies we both really enjoy fishing, hunting, and just being outdoors in general. During the summers we like to enjoy a walk or bike ride around our country block. In the winters we like to enjoy a good game of sequence or some kind of card game.

Pets

Millie is an 8 year old Shi Tzu-Bichon mix. She's small, sweet any loves to cuddle. Her favorite things are playing fetch, and going for car rides, and curling up on someone's lap. Mocha is a 5 year old Shih Tzu- Poosle mix with a big personality. She likes having her own chair, barks at any little noise, and loves to chase birds. Both dogs are friendly with kids and would love to follow one around.

School & Work

We both attended technical schools after high school to get our degrees. Scott has been a machinist for 27 years at the same company, which speaks volumes about his loyalty and strong work ethic. He is the machining supervisor. His patience, his kindness, and his ability to help others will bring deep love and gentle guidance to our future child's life. Krystal had owned her own salon for 16 years and has been a stylist for 22 years. Her work ethic had always been strong, but she always knows how to have fun and bring joy into every space she's in. Because she sets her own schedule, she can have flexible hours to spend more time with a child. Scott and Krystal both work four day weeks this way they can have three day weekends to spend quality time together.

Scott's Extended Family

I was raised In a loving home with my mom and dad along with my older sister. Sadly we lost my dad when I was 12. The memories we shared, especially our time together at the cabin, remain close to my heart. My mom has always been my biggest supporter and she cant wait to be a grandma since this would be her first grand child. As I got older, I became even closer with my dad's side of the family. Especially with some uncles and cousins that share the love for the outdoors together. My dad came from a family of 9. So now during the holidays there are about 86 of us total with everyone's kids. It makes for fun and exciting times.

Krystal Extended Family

Family has always been important to me. I grew up close to my younger brother, even though we're four years apart. He is now married and they have 2 children a boy and a girl. They are our only neice and nephew. We love cheering them on at their sporting events and school activities. My mom loves spending time with the grandkids and can't wait to have more. My dad is retired and he also enjoys being grandpa and going to the sports activities. My dad's side is also large, he comes from a family of 9 siblings. And my mom has 5 siblings. Which means I have alot of cousins and the holidays are always lively and full of laughter.

Family Traditions & Holidays

During the holidays, we always go out to cut a fresh Christmas tree down. Its something we look forward to each year. It's part of the preparation we do to host Scott's dad side each year for Christmas. We enjoy planning the menu each year for Christmas Eve dinner. Krystal comes up with different minute to win it games so everyone can try to win a prize. Krystal dresses up for a Halloween trick or treat event on main street of our town every year. She hands out candy to about 1,000 kids. And she organizes a cousins weekend each year on her mom's side. So with all our extended families our holidays are always pretty eventful. But we wouldn't have it any other way.
