We are Drew, Jess and Owen! We appreciate you taking the time to get to know a little more about us. We are so excited to extend our family through adoption once again! We believe love is what makes a family and we are thrilled to share all our love and life with your child. Faith, family and education are very important to us and we promise to provide a home full of love and laughter. We look forward to getting to know more about you and your hopes for your child. Relationship/Journey

We were best friends from the start of our relationship. We were high school sweethearts and have been happily married for over ten years now. We view our life as a grand adventure, and we try to find joy and positivity in all that we do. Adoption has always been on our hearts and something we truly feel called to do. We welcomed our son through adoption in 2021, and there has not been a second of doubt since he was placed in our arms that we were meant for each other. We keep in touch with his birth mom, usually through text. We have established healthy boundaries and we love and respect her so much.

Home

We bought our forever home in 2022. It has three bedrooms and is located on a little over 4 acres of land. It is so quiet and peaceful. We enjoy the outdoor space very much – plenty room to run around! Whether we are enjoying a crawfish boil under the patio outside or exchanging Christmas gifts in our living room, we love having family and friends over! Our home is filled with love and we truly enjoy spending time and making memories there.

Travel

We normally take a big, family trip once a year with our extended family. While we love to visit the beach and the mountains, we are definitely a Disney Family! We even visited DisneyLand in 2023. We are blessed to be able to visit Disney World multiple times a year and are newly annual passholders.

Hobbies

Drew loves the outdoors and enjoys hiking and fishing. Jess enjoys photography, party planning and decorating. As a family, we love to have movie nights and visit the local zoo or children’s museum. We can usually be found outside playing! Our favorites are jumping on the trampoline, hide and seek, and water balloon fun in the summer!

Pets

While we see many cows and horses near our home, we only have 2 pets. We have one dog, Ruger, and a tortoise named Squirt. Ruger loves people and always enjoys running around outside with Owen.

Our Extended Family

We are very close to both sides of our family. Holidays, Birthdays, sporting events and vacations are all family affairs for us. We talk to our extended family daily and usually see them twice a week. Owen has plenty of cousins, so our weekends are usually spent with outings and adventures with our extended family.

Family Traditions & Holidays

All holidays are spent with our families. It can get loud and chaotic but there is always laughter and so much fun! Our favorite family traditions would have to be dressing up together for Halloween and our annual Christmas Pajama Party. We also started a new tradition last year for fall and hosted our first Pumpkin Patch at our house. We had family and friends over for food, games and pumpkins of course!
