We are excited to learn about your hopes and dreams for your child and are grateful for you taking the time to get to know us. Thank you for considering making our family part of yours. We know this decision is most difficult in many ways. Please know we are praying for your peace and wisdom in this situation.

We are Bible Study sweethearts who first connected while serving at church. We have been married for over 10 years and have been blessed with four beautiful children, three of those by adoption. We are presently a family of six, with three boys and one girl. Our children can't wait for another sibling. Our oldest child even tried to put a brother and sister on the grocery list! We enjoy taking vacations together and having play dates with close friends. In the evenings, we like to walk through our friendly neighborhood or ride bikes to the nearby pool or park.

Why Adoption?

We have always wanted a large family and have experience with both open and closed adoption. We are ready to adopt again and will love welcoming a boy or girl of any ethnicity into our family. We love being parents and are very family focused, including our children in our hobbies and ourselves in their interests. We are looking forward to sharing our love for celebrating birthdays and holidays with another child, as well as special family traditions. If you like, we are looking forward to an ongoing relationship with you, too!

We have over 3,500 square feet waiting for the pitter patter of more little feet to echo off of the walls! Located in Ohio, our house has a full basement, main floor, and second story. We live in a planned community with easy access to shopping, doctors, and entertainment, including the private swim club around the corner. Our neighbors are all very friendly and during evening walks, we nearly always encounter more than one conversation. We have a beautiful backyard, with a covered and gated patio, and our property backs up to a pond, where the boys spend many evenings fishing.

One of our favorite things to do is travel. We have enjoyed a river cruise on the Mississippi, took a trip to see the Magnolia Silos in Texas, and visited the River Walk in San Antonio. Ryan's favorite vacation spot is Virginia Beach and Emily's favorite is Disney World. The beach and Disney World are favorite destinations for the whole family!

Ryan is very active, having roots as a golfer, baseball player, and drummer - he enjoys helping our kids excel in their athletic endeavors! Ryan's hobbies include playing the acoustic guitar and being outdoors, He has also turned himself into quire the handyman - even building our coffee table. Emily is very creative - we even have a craft room in our house! She enjoys journaling, baking, making cards, scrapbooking, sewing, and photography. Emily is also an avid reader and is looking forward to sharing her love of books and writing with another child.

School & Work

Ryan is an IT Supervisor with a computer engineering degree and an MBA. Ryan excels at working with people, both in leadership positions at work and leading our family. Emily is a stay-at-home mom and has a Bachelor's Degree in Middle Childhood Education. Her background has even helped her serve at the church as Vacation Bible School Director.

Our Family

We are both from large, close families who are overjoyed for our adoption plans to expand our family. Both of our parents are living, married, and absolutely adore their grandchildren! Ryan has three brothers and three sisters, along with 13 nieces and nephews. Emily has three sisters, with our children being the only grandchildren on her side. Since we regularly gather together with our families, there will be no shortage of attention with all of the grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins around!

Family Traditions & Holidays

We enjoy participating in seasonal activities like fall festivals. We have a family tradition of seeing the lights at the zoo for Christmas every year! Other traditions include making gingerbread houses and baking special cookies form a recipe handed down on Emily's side of the family.
