It takes so much strength to choose adoption for your child.
We are Philip, Emily, Graham, and Parker. Thank you for taking time to get to know us. We hope this will give you a little glimpse into our lives. We know your decision is not easy and that it takes so much strength to choose adoption for your child. We pray that you choose us to provide a loving family for your child.
Relationship/Journey
Philip and Emily met in medical school in 2009, started dating shortly after, and got married in 2013. Just a few months before our wedding, Emily was diagnosed with breast cancer. Because of side effects of her medical treatments, her doctors were worried she would not be able to get pregnant. But later that year, we were blessed with twin boys. Emily is now in remission but cannot have any more children because of the side effects of cancer treatment. However, we believe our family is not yet complete, and we are hoping to grow our family through adoption.
Travel
We love to take trips as a family and let our kids explore new places. We recently went to Disney World for the first time and cannot wait to go back!
Hobbies
We love spending time with friends & family and enjoy hosting get togethers at our house. Emily loves to cook and Philip is a master on the grill. We are both huge New Orleans Saints fans and love to go to as many games as possible!
Pets
We have 2 friendly and adorable dogs, Sadie and Adele. We also have a bearded dragon named Drogon!
School & Work
Philip is a cancer doctor and Emily is an eye surgeon. We both consider it a blessing to be able to help other people in need. We love our jobs, but family is always the #1 priority.
Our Extended Family
Family is very important to us and we love getting together as often as possible. Our parents love to spoil Graham and Parker and we know they are excited to hopefully have another grandchild to spoil soon.
Family Traditions & Holidays
Holidays are some of the best times to make memories with family. Since Graham and Parker were born, we have dressed up for Halloween as a family. Our favorite costume so far has been when we dressed up as Super Mario characters. We also dress up in matching pajamas every year at Christmas with Philip’s sisters and their husbands.
