Relationship/Journey

We are James, Greta & Kadin. James and Greta have been together since 2013. We welcomed our first child Kadin in 2014. We were married in 2016. After birth complications with Kadin we still tried to conceive a second child naturally. After two unsuccessful pregnancies we decided that adoption would be how we would grow our family.

We live in a four-bedroom one story home located in a small town of Louisiana. Our home is on six acres of land.

Hobbies

James enjoys enjoys fishing, hunting, and horseback riding. Greta enjoys spending time with my family, traveling, being with her sorority sisters and date nights with James. Our family hobbies include hunting, fishing, horseback riding, baking, eating out, family game nights, and traveling.

Pets

Our Extended Family

We have a large family. Greta's dad is a sibling of 10 and her mom is a sibling of 12. James’s mom is a sibling of 4 and his dad is a sibling of 7. Although there are a lot of us we are all extremely close. We celebrate holidays together. We gather to eat, play games, listen to music, our children play, and we enjoy each other’s company. We vacation together as well. We typically take at least one family vacation every year with our entire family. We also take a separate vacation with just our immediate family.

Family Traditions & Holidays

Every year we host a Christmas Eve gathering for all of the children and a back-to-school event. Serving GOD is a must for our family. We are all involved in our church. James is an associate minister; he also leads the young men’s ministry. Greta is a part of the adult choir and praise team, as well as the recording secretary for the music and arts ministry. Kadin is a member of the children’s choir and the children’s ministry. We are a busy bunch between Kadin’s soccer, work and sorority events there is never a dull moment, but we always reserve Sunday for God and Brunch.
